Is valid for children ages 6 to 14. Accompanied children under age 6: Two children are free with each accompanying adult.

Is offered when at least one parent and one child ride together. The children or the parents may not ride on their own.

Applyies when the fare for at least 10 participants is paid by a single passenger.

When the fare for at least 10 participants is paid by a single passenger, the group rate is available for:

• children
• schoolchildren
• students
• youths (age until 18,99)

The group must be supervised by a responsible accompanying adult. One chaperone for every 10 participants receives a discounted price.

• People with disabilities and/or restricted mobility who can prove a degree of disability or a loss of earning capacity of at least 50% and an accompanying person (if applicable) will receive a reduced fare ticket (group rate).
• The accompanying person will only be transported at a reduced price (group rate), if he moves the person with disabilities in a wheelchair or his/her disabled-person-pass points to the need of an accompanying person.

After you step out of the MönchsbergAufzug lift at the bottom of the mountain, you can purchase your ticket at the ticket window by the exit.

If space is available, you are welcome to take your bicycle with you on the MönchsbergAufzug lift for free.

Dogs are welcome to travel with you on the MönchsbergAufzug at no cost. But please be aware, your dog must wear a muzzle and be on a leash, or be transported in a suitable pet container.

Yes, with the Salzburg Card you are entitled to ride the MönchsbergAufzug lift for free. Free admission to Museum der Moderne Salzburg is also included with the Salzburg Card. However, please note that you can only take advantage of free admission or free rides (one lift ride up and one ride down the mountain) one time.

No, tickets for the MönchsbergAufzug cannot be purchased online. At our ticket windows on site you can buy a ticket right before you get on.
