Arrival SchafbergBahn

• Take the A8 to Salzburg, at the "Knoten Salzburg" interchange continue ca. 26 kilometers in the direction of Vienna/Linz.
• Take the Thalgau exit off the motorway.
• Continue in the direction of St. Gilgen am Wolfgangsee and follow the signs to St. Wolfgang.
• In St. Wolfgang, turn right into the tunnel and at the next turn-off make a left along the lakeshore, until you see a sign on your right for the P7 SchafbergBahn car park.

• On the A1 motorway in the direction of Linz/St. Pölten/Pressbaum. Take the Regau exit, continue in the direction of Gmunden.
• From Gmunden towards Bad Ischl. From Bad Ischl, follow the signs to St. Wolfgang.
• In St. Wolfgang, turn right into the tunnel and at the next turn-off make a left along the lakeshore, until you see a sign on your right for the P7 SchafbergBahn car park.

• By train from Munich to Salzburg Main Station.
• Continue on the No. 150 bus (boarding area F on Südtiroler Platz) to Strobl bus station. Transfer to the WolfgangseeSchifffahrt ferry or take the No. 546 bus to the “St. Wolfgang Schafbergbahnhof” stop.
• The No. 150 also stops in St. Gilgen, where you can likewise board the WolfgangseeSchifffahrt ferry (stop “St. Gilgen Busbahnhof / Raiffeisenplatz”, then ca. 340 meters on foot).

• By train to the Attnang-Puchheim station.
• Continue by regional train to Bad Ischl station.
• From Bad Ischl on the No. 546 bus to Strobl or “St. Wolfgang Schafbergbahnhof”.

• Continue by ship from St. Gilgen to the St. Wolfgang Schafbergbahn boat landing.

Located right next to the SchafbergBahn are the public fee-based carparks P7 and P8. The P7 belongs to the SchafbergBahn: With a mountain and valley ticket of the SchafbergBahn you get € 4,00 reduction on the car tariff

Three other carparks, P1 - P3, are located immediately after entering St. Wolfgang on the left-hand side. The valley station of the SchafbergBahn is approximately a 20-minute walk through town away.

Located right next to the SchafbergBahn are the public fee-based parking areas for busses P7 Buses only according to availability!
