The shed-style roof not only provides sensational views of the surrounding mountain world but also allows for light-filled, bright spaces. The heart and highlight of the restaurant is the spacious, covered lake terrace, which is perfect for relaxation in combination with culinary enjoyment. Wolfgangsee connoisseurs actually claim it is the most beautiful terrace on the entire lake! It's always exciting for the little ones to watch the mountain lifts gliding in and out of the lower level as they eat.
And what's on the menu at the new Café & Restaurant EQ? Dishes that would likely have appealed to Austrian nobility “back in the day”, but given a whole new, and quite irresistible interpretation! Chef Mario Köstl serves delicious, classic Salzkammergut cuisine which, like himself, has a certain international touch. Fresh lake fish, the finest meat from the region, and Alpine-style tapas. But also light vegetarian dishes, vegan bowls, and dishes that are ultra child-friendly. And always with seasonal ingredients from local farmers as well as products from regional partners.
