The “Art Packages” include the lift ride up and down the mountain on the MönchsbergAufzug, museum admission as well as your choice of breakfast, afternoon snack or coffee & cake. On Saturday, October 5, 2024, this year's “ORF Long Night of Museums” will take place throughout Austria. Numerous museums will open their doors from 6 pm to midnight. Take the opportunity to visit the WasserSpiegel museum on the Mönchsberg, where Andrés Bertomeu invites you to a water disco with verrophon (glass harp) and water beats. The FestungsBahn and Mönchsberg elevator as well as many other museums and sights in the city of Salzburg are also included in the ticket.
In the off-season, the FestungsBahn opens its middle station and releases its passengers halfway along the route so that they can walk to the “WasserSpiegel” museum in just five minutes. After visiting the museum, the route leads along impressive views to the M32 restaurant. The Mönchsberg elevator takes you back to the old town in just 30 seconds.
